Winter Reading 2025
Join us for the 2nd Annual Winter Reading Program—free, fun, and open to all ages.
Spruce up your winter with a trip to the library! Think Summer Reading… but cooler! Throughout December and January, enjoy a creative reading challenge, kits to kick-start your creativity, programs for all ages, and of course—plenty of books perfect for curling up by the fire.
Signing up is easy: stop by the main desk to pick up your reading log and begin your winter adventure!
How does it work?
Youth (18 & under): Follow a snowman’s walk to the library! The more you read, the more prizes you collect—stickers, ice cream coupons, free books, and entries into our youth grand prize drawing. Beginning readers can count the number of picture or easy reader books they complete, while older readers can track reading by the hour.
Adults: Take on our winter crossword! Each “clue” is a reading or activity challenge. Complete clues to fill in words—and earn tickets toward the adult grand prize.
This year’s grand prizes are cozy winter reading baskets, which will be on display at the library soon. Stop by and take a peek!
