Volunteering at the Kenai Community Library is a meaningful way to support your community and gain experience while assisting with essential library services.

Why volunteer?

Volunteers help enhance library programs, support staff with daily tasks, and promote public engagement. Opportunities are available in areas like:

  • Programming support
  • Shelving and collection maintenance
  • Cleaning and special projects

Who can volunteer?

Volunteers must:

  • Complete an application
  • Be 14 or older (applicants under the age of 18 need parental approval)
  • Commit to a consistent schedule
  • Pass a background check (if applicable)

How to Apply:

Read our Volunteer Policy and fill out our volunteer application form. Placement is based on your skills, availability, and library needs. Applications are kept on file for six months.
