Wi-Fi

Kenai Community Library offers free Wi-Fi. Patrons using wireless devices may access the library's internet service.

Public Computers

Computer stations are available for public use inside the main library building. Patrons may log in using their library card or request a guest pass.

Please review our Internet Safety Policy. Copies are also available at the Library's service desk.

Laptops

Library cardholders age 13 and up, in good standing and with a signed Electronic Device Liability Agreement on file, may borrow a laptop for up to 2 hours of in-library use.

Chromebooks

The library offers Chromebooks for a three-week checkout. These lightweight laptops run on Google’s Chrome OS and have built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. Patrons may:

  • Sign in as a guest for basic internet access
  • Use a Google account to work with apps like Docs, Sheets, and Drive
  • Enjoy automatic cloud storage—no data is saved after logout

Get Computer and Internet Help

Tech Time is available at the Kenai Community Library for anyone with basic technology questions. Meet with one of our staff members every Tuesday between 11 am and 1 pm.

We can help you with:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Accessing library resources
  • How to access eBooks and Audiobooks
  • Using devices such as eReaders, tablets, and smartphones
  • Digital photos
  • Social media
  • Email

*We do not take apart or repair devices, assist with financial transactions, or handle malware/viruses. While we will do our best to assist you with your technology needs, these are offered to allow you to expand your skills, not as a replacement for commercial tech support.

The library does not monitor internet use and cannot control or take responsibility for content accessed online. The internet may contain material some find offensive. Parents are strongly encouraged to supervise their children’s online activity.
