City Manager Terry Eubank

Terry Eubank was appointed City Manager for the City of Kenai on January 10, 2023.  The City Manager is charged with the administration of the operations of the City, including execution of the laws and ordinances.  As the City’s Administrator, the City Manager manages and engages all departments, agencies, officers, and employees of the City, is responsible for budget administration, finances, and administrative activities, and ensures the City Council is informed on fiscal matters and future needs of the City. 

Prior to his appointment as City Manager, Terry worked as the City’s Finance Director since 2008.  He holds a bachelor of business administration in accounting and finance from the University of Alaska Anchorage and has over twenty-five years of municipal government management experience including ten years at the Kenai Peninsula Borough as a Finance Controller before joining the City of Kenai.

Terry is proud to call Alaska his home for over 45 years. He moved to Kenai in 1983 graduating from Kenai Central High School in 1989.  Terry and his wife raised three kids, all Kenai Central High School graduates, and are now proud grandparents of three.

His core focus is to serve the residents of Kenai through outstanding public service, strong financial management, data-driven decision making, and leading an engaged group of employees who work to promote a thriving business and residential community.
