Beautification Commission

The purpose of the Beautification Commission is to advise the Council and Administration on enhancing the appearance of the City.  Duties include advising the Parks & Recreation Department on seasonal displays, decorations, and annual plantings of flora to be displayed in the City; advising Council and Administration on City beautification issues and/or projects as requested by the Council or Administration; and submitting annually a list of the recommended capital improvements.

Meetings of the Beautification Commission are held on the second Tuesday of  January, April, May, September and October. Meetings are at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. Additional meetings are scheduled as required to address time sensitive topics.
