Gale Presents: GetSetUp

With hundreds of live and on-demand classes led by peers, older adults can build skills, meet new people, and stay mentally and socially active—all at no cost through the Kenai Community Library. All you need is a library card.

Access to Gale Presents: GetSetUp is made possible through the American Library Association’s Digital Pathways: Online Health Literacy Programming for Adults initiative. Digital Pathways is developed with the support of UnitedHealthcare. It is managed by the American Library Association's Public Programs office.

What can older adults do with GetSetUp?

  • Make Connections. Join a welcoming community of peers through interactive classes.
  • Feel Safe and Supported. Instructors are 55+ and understand the pace, style, and encouragement older learners appreciate.
  • Stay Mentally Sharp. Explore classes, short videos, and articles on topics like technology use, health, money, hobbies, retirement, travel, and much more.
  • Build Digital Confidence. Learn to navigate smartphones, telehealth, online safety, finances, social media, and other essential tools.
  • Learn on Their Terms. Choose from live sessions or on-demand content—accessible anytime, anywhere.
