Development Incentives

Businesses interested in developing City-owned land may take advantage of leases with options to purchase with no lease payments for up to five years, or long-term lease options with no lease payments for up to five years. Eligible work includes clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, classified fill and back fill, and utility extensions. An example use of this City policy is leasing a vacant parcel with option to purchase, paying no rent for up to five years while clearing and preparing the lands, and then purchasing the parcel once the eligible development has been completed. The City has more than 300 parcels of raw land available.
