Trail Conditions Report:

(11/18/25) The Municipal Park Walking Trails have been groomed, and the recent snowfall is providing fair traction. All of the Kenai Ski Trails have been rolled, with classic tracks set; presentation of the tracks is thin in some areas.

(11/14/25) The Municipal Park Walking Trails are in fair condition; they have been plowed but remain icy in some areas. Please use caution. The Kenai Ski Trails are not yet open. The gate will remain closed until sufficient snowfall has accumulated to create a suitable base for grooming. Classic tracks are not yet established, but will be set as soon as the weather permits.

The City of Kenai offers a variety of walking, skiing, and multi-purpose trails available year-round. Condition updates for trails maintained during the winter season will be posted on this page. No motorized vehicles are permitted on any trails. A portable restroom is available at the ski trail location during the winter season for the convenience of users.
