The City of Kenai’s 11th Annual Pumpkin Festival is happening Saturday, October 10 at Softball Greenstrip!
This FREE community event celebrates all things pumpkin, fall, and fun! Enjoy pumpkin painting, hayrides, hot cider, fall games and activities, and the much-anticipated Pumpkin Drop from the Kenai Fire Department ladder truck — this day will be packed with festive activities for the whole family!

Fall Pumpkin Festival Event Timeline
Ongoing (11 AM – 3 PM): Food Vendors, Crafts, and Activities
Special Times
11:00–12:30 PM – Contest pumpkin check-in
1:30 PM – Contest winners announced
2:00 PM – Pumpkin Drop from Fire Truck
2:00–3:00 PM – Pumpkin pick-up (display ends 3:15 PM)
NO-CARVE PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST PARTICIPANTS:
Artists of all ages are invited to decorate a pumpkin and showcase their creativity at the festival!
While supplies last, the Kenai Community Library will have FREE pumpkins available Wednesday, October 7 through Friday, October 9 for youth ages 18 and under participating in the No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
Limit one pumpkin per youth participant.
Adult participants must provide their own pumpkin.

• 4 & Under
• Ages 5–8
• Ages 9–12

• Adult
