Kenai has more than 5 miles of walking trails, 3.2 miles of Nordic ski trails, we are connected to an 8.75 mile Unity Trail AND, we have a trail that talks to you!

Lawton Drive Extension

Respecting each other and our environment is the theme for this hidden jewel within Kenai.  Connecting Lawton Drive with Beaver Loop you can take a walk or ride in the wild.  Open to ATV and pedestrians not to mention the natural traffic that has been there long before us, we must work together to be respectful of this special space.  Please stay on the road!  Thank you!!

Meeks Bridge

This local jewel will take you from Old Town Kenai right down to the Kenai North Beach.

Kenai Nordic Ski Trails

The Kenai Nordic Trail System is suitable for a beginner, yet challenging enough for an experienced skier.  The terrain is predominantly flat, with  a variety of beautiful landscapes.

Trail grooming began in 1996 in order to enhance community recreation throughout the winter months.  shortly thereafter, Kenai Central High School and the Kenai Middle School began to offer Nordic skiing as an extra curricular activity.

Ryan's Creek

This newer addition to Kenai's trail system connects with the Bernie Huss Trail and can get you from mid-town to Daubenspeck Family Park.

A beautiful stretch of wilderness in the middle of suburb Kenai and a well known local shortcut.

Unity Trail sunrise

This amazing paved trail is one of the most used trails in our area.  Following the Kenai Spur Highway, this path is excellent for walking, running, jogging, biking, rollerblading and an excellent place to take strollers or wagons.  With many scenic views, park benches and parks along the way you can go almost as far as you would like to and then come right back again.
