City of Kenai Regular Election

  At the April 14, 2026 City of Kenai Special Election, the voters of the City of Kenai approved a Charter amendment which moved the annual election date of the City of Kenai to the first Tuesday following a Monday in November.

                    10/04/26 - Deadline to Register to Vote or Update Your Registration
                    10/19/26 - Absentee In-Person Voting Begins
                    10/27/26 - Absentee By-Mail Applications Must be Received by 5:00 p.m.
                    11/02/26 - Absentee By-Electronic Transmission Applications Must be Received by 5:00 p.m.
                    11/04/26 - Election Day - Polls are Open 7:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m.
