The Special Meeting will be held to conduct interviews of applicants for the City Manager Position. To ensure a fair process for all applicants, the interviews will not be live streamed nor will any Zoom meetings be open to the public.

All applicants are strongly discouraged from attending the interview of other applicants.

How to Provide Testimony

Written Testimony

Written testimony is encouraged. You may submit your comments by sending an email to city_council@kenai.city. Please indicate in the subject line which agenda item you are providing written testimony. Examples: Ordinance or Resolution number, agenda item # or description of subject.  The agenda is available below.

How to Participate

Members of the public interested in attending the Special Meeting may do so in person at Kenai City Hall Council Chambers, 210 Fidalgo Avenue, Kenai, AK 99611.

What to Expect When Testifying

Public testimony will be heard first from citizens in the order in which they have signed up, and then comments from all others.  Please note: If you do not respond when called on we will move to the next person on list.

When the Mayor calls your name, you will be asked to state your name and provide your address for the record; then your 3 minutes will begin.
