Board of Adjustment Hearing - Expanded Extraction of Natural Resources

Notice is hereby given; the Kenai City Council will convene as the Board of Adjustment on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 210 Fidalgo Avenue, Kenai.  The following will be heard at that time:

Appeal of the Planning and Zoning Commission Decision to Approve a Variance Permit to Build Into the Setback for Expanded Extraction of Natural Resources at 2817 Beaver Loop Road, Kenai, AK. Parcel No. 04911029.

The public is invited to attend, and public comments will be taken.  Any questions related to this public notice may be directed to the Kenai City Clerk’s Office at 907-283-8231 or cityclerk@kenai.city.

Written Testimony
Written comments will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026. You may submit your comments by sending an email to cityclerk@kenai.city. Please indicate in the subject line, "Board of Adjustment Hearing".

In-Person/Virtual/Telephonic Testimony
You will be asked to state your name and whether you are a resident of the City of Kenai; then your 5 minutes will begin.

Registration Required for Virtual/Telephonic Testimony
The City will be using Zoom for telephonic and virtual access.  Registration is required to join the meeting remotely through Zoom.
