How do I get a card?

Bring in your picture ID and fill out an application. Verify your mailing address by bringing in two pieces of recent mail or have us send your library card to you in the mail. 

How many items can I check out at one time?

You can have up to 25 items checked out at one time. 

Where can I return my items?

You can return them to our inside drop box, our outside drop box located on the side of the building, or at any Alaska Library Consortium member library. Soldotna library is included!

What is the Alaska Library Consortium?

The Alaska Library Consortium (ALC) is a statewide library consortium that allows us to offer millions of items to our patrons. We send materials between our libraries to fill holds. You can place a hold on items that we do not have here and the item will be sent to us for you to pick up. All items are subject to the lending library's rules. 

I don't remember my PIN!

Not to worry! If you do not know your PIN, use the Reset Password/PIN link on the My Account login form or contact us during our regular hours.   

How do I log on to my account?

Click on this link and enter your library card barcode and PIN. 
Once there, you can view your checkouts, holds, fines, change your PIN and other preferences, and renew your items.

Do you have fax capabilities?

Yes, we have a fax self-service. Come in during regular hours and we'll get you started.

Do you scan?

Yes, scanning is free! 

Do you have a copy machine?

Yes, you can copy for $.25 per page in black and white and $.50 per page in color. 

Can I print?

Yes, you can print from one of our library computers for $.25 per page, black and white only. We also have wireless printing available.
