Business Licenses and Permits

Thank you for choosing to do business in the City of Kenai!

 You must obtain the following to conduct business within Kenai city limits:

• State of Alaska Business License
• Kenai Peninsula Borough Sales Tax Certificate  

The City of Kenai requires the following licenses to be obtained through the Clerk's Office:

Mobile Food Vendor License

• KMC 5.25 Mobile Food Vendors

• Application for Mobile Food Vendor License

Transient Merchant/Peddler License

• KMC 5.30 Peddlers and Transient Merchants
• Application for Transient Merchant/Peddler License

Passenger Vehicle for Hire License

• KMC 20.05 Passenger Vehicles for Hire
• Application for Passenger Vehicles for Hire License
